How to target home buyers on Social Media

Lots of valuable information at the SEBC 2015 Educational sessions about demographics, and how to reach the Millennials, Female Buyers, Over 50, Over 60 and 70 plus home buyers.  Highlights might make it into a future column.
Today I want to highlight how social media has the capability to target certain groups of highly engaged people. And according to Facebook, they are 89% accurate for narrowly targeted campaigns. Find the right customers across devices including desktop, mobile and tables. Deliver relevant messages to specific people. Get the most value by reaching only the people that matter to you based on information such as age, location, income, interests and behaviors.
In addition, remarket to those that have shown an interest in your ad but not taken any action the first time around as it can take up to seven encounters before an action gets taken, as we have all heard before.
Instagram has become a powerful mobile platform for advertisers and is following Facebook in regards to targeted ads. This platform is on its way to become the preferred platform for millennials.
Is your business looking to reach more customers with social media and Facebook marketing? Contact Ursula Amon with Social Media Consulting CFL, a VBIA affiliate, for a FREE consultation today! 386.527.5089

FHBA is fighting hard for you!

The Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) fought hard for the one-year extension on the mandatory blower door testing. This victory was the result of an intensive lobbying effort. An effort that required us to leverage leadership relations.

Without the FHBA, the market would have been unprepared to adhere to the mandatory code and, as a result, experienced significant time delays and costs in construction projects.

You can be a part of change that supports the building industry

With these challenges facing us, the Florida Home Builders PAC asks you to donate the cost of one blower door test - $250. Donations will support our efforts to fight unnecessary fees and seek ways to stop burdensome regulations, like the blower door test.

2015 VBIA Scholarships Awarded

VBIA gave out a total of $3,000 to  four winning student applicants. The funds included memorial contributions from Halifax Plumbing, Wholesale Lighting, Jane Self, Habitech Security, Professional Title and Southern Title.

VBIA Scholarships are given in honor of Wayne Beighle, Tommy Durrance and Gus & Steve Sliger. A new memorial was established by Habitech owner, Ali Babazadeh to honor his brother, Arash.

Arash was a graduate of Georgia Tech’s Industrial Engineering School and had a passion for learning and achieving new things.  In contributing to the VBIA Scholarship Fund, Arash’s family and friends wish to recognize the dedication to continued education and one’s willingness to always want more out of life.  The family’s hope is that a small part of Arash’s light and optimism can be passed on through his memory in this scholarship, the many lives he touched throughout his life and the loved ones he leaves behind.
